In the novella “The Red Couch,” Tyler Montgomery, a college English professor gets in an automobile accident and helps solve a horrendous crime with a newly discovered ability involving ESP. In “The Restroom Haunt,” Spencer Hawkins, an attorney, meets his fate at the hands of a psychotic troll who resides in the basement of the high-rise building. Two newly created vampires, Lucian Polidori and Bianca LaVey, ride away into the night, on the run in a black hot rod 1975 Monte Carlo, as they struggle with the transformation and flee from a vampire hunter named Adrian Burgendorv.

Sasquatch Hunters Inc. — Billy Bob and Jethro Roland, two brothers, discover signs of Sasquatch in the woods near Port Angeles, Washington and track him down only to discover he is quite civilized and does not want his secret to get out.
